Elsevier, producer of the EMBASE database, is pleased to announce the availability of , a bibliographic database that makes the EMBASE backfile from 1947-1973 accessible in electronic format. This fully digitized 27-year backfile is drawn from 43 Excerpta Medica Abstract print titles such as Cancer, Cardiovascular Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, as well as Adverse Reactions. The database includes over 1.6 million records from the biomedical and pharmacological literature.
