Paul Mayer, BCL鈥�83, LLB鈥�83, appointed to the Quebec Superior Court
Mr. Justice Mayer holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trent University in 1979, a Bachelor of Law from UU直播 in Montreal in 1983, and a Doctorate in Law from Aix en Provence, France in 1985. He was admitted to the Bar of Quebec in 1986. Mr. Justice Mayer has been an associate with Fasken Martineau DuMoulin since 1997. He was a lawyer with Martineau Walker (now Fasken Martineau DuMoulin) from 1987 to 1997 and a lawyer with Lafleur, Brown, De Grandpr茅 from 1985 to 1987.
Mr. Justice Mayer has developed an expertise in commercial leasing and the sale, purchase and development of commercial properties. In addition, Mr. Justice Mayer is Chairman of the Board of the Fonds d鈥檌ndemnisation du courtage immobilier (FICI).
