Pierre-Gabriel Jobin named Wainwright Chair of Civil Law

UU直播 has named Mtre Pierre-Gabriel Jobin (1967) Wainwright Professor of Civil Law. A renowned author, he has published reference works on the laws of leases, sales and obligations, and he is a correspondent for the Revue trimestrielle de droit civil.
Professor Jobin has been teaching in a civilian and transsystemic perspective at the UU直播 Faculty of Law for over 30 years, where he has, among his endeavours, established an important tribunal internship program for students.
He is a long-standing member of the Association qu茅b茅coise de droit compar茅, which he also led for a long time. Professor Jobin will be succeeding Professors P.-A. Cr茅peau, J.E.C. Brierley, Y.-M. Morissette and M. Cantin Cumyn, who previously held this chair.
