A welcome to our newest professors

The Faculty is delighted to extend a warm, summertime welcome to the four new colleagues who have joined us:

  • Dr. Yaëll Emerich: A former senior scholar at the Quebec Research Centre of Private and Comparative Law, Professor Emerich will teach Civil Law Property and Secured Transactions next year.
  • Dr. Payam Akhavan: Most recently a Boulton Senior Fellow at the Faculty, Professor Akhavan will teach in the fields of criminal law and international law.
  • Dr. Robert Leckey: Previously a Trudeau Scholar at the University of Toronto, Professor Leckey will teach Contractual Obligations and Family Law I next year.
  • Pierre-Emmanuel Moyse: Our newest Wainwright Junior Fellow, Mr. Moyse has just defended his doctoral thesis in intellectual property law at Université de Montréal. A graduate of that faculty and of the faculties of Besançon in France and Mainz in Germany, he will teach Civil Law Property and Evidence (Civil Matters) next year.
