Biography:
H茅l猫ne Guay holds a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Civil Law from UU直播 and a Master鈥檚 degree in Health Law from the University of Sherbrooke (1989).听
Guay has been a lawyer in private practice since 1988, representing听clients in court related to compensation, integrity, privacy, protection and autonomy. She has participated in National Assembly bills, and led federal class action suits.听
In 1999, she began teaching in health law to healthcare professional and听future lawyers. She has published major articles on topics related to access to care, genetic testing, and elder abuse, and also听hosts a conference series for seniors associations.听
