CASCO Annual Dance Show and Silent Auction
About CASCO
CASCO (The Commerce and Administration Student Charity Organization) is a student-driven charity whose purpose is to raise money for a local children鈥檚 hospital. The charity would allow business students to integrate their knowledge for a good cause and demonstrate social responsibility.
Twelve years ago, the Desautels Faculty of Management at UU直播 opened a chapter of CASCO to support The Montreal Children鈥檚 Hospital Foundation. The UU直播 Chapter now hosts an annual dance and fashion show, with a silent auction, each year in November that involves student performers from across UU直播鈥檚 campus.
Last year, CASCO raised close to $20,000 to support the brand new Montreal Children鈥檚 Hospital. This new site, with its close proximity to other medical locations such as the new Shriner鈥檚 Hospital allows healthcare professionals to work closely and collaborate. This year, all funds will continue to support this new site and complete the Montreal Children鈥檚 Hospital鈥檚 mission to ensure a 鈥渒id friendly鈥� environment where dreams of health, life and treatment can come true.
With a target of $12,000 鈥� CASCO will be hosting its annual dance show and silent auction on November 16th with the theme of 鈥淐oast to Coast鈥�. Held at the l鈥橝stral Theatre, this years show features numerous different styles of dance from Salsa to Contemporary styles 鈥� all choreographed and performed by students from UU直播.
All proceeds from the show and auction go to help the children and hospital, so if you would like to attend the performance or donate to CASCO 鈥� any support is greatly appreciated.
