Manulife Prize presented to researcher on a mission to combat lifestyle diseases

Dr. Jean-Pierre Despr茅s, Professor of Kinesiology at Universit茅 Laval and pioneer in developing screening techniques for visceral obesity, was presented with the 2018 Manulife Prize for the Promotion of Active Health at a breakfast hosted my Manulife and in collaboration with the UU直播 Centre for the Convergence of Health and Economics (MCCHE) on April 10, 2018.
Professor Despr茅s hopes that this prize will help bridge the gap between sound scientific research and the practice of healthy living.
