Bold ideas take flight at UU直播 Dobson Cup
One June 5, four teams were crowned victors of the 2014聽UU直播 Dobson Cup, the annual start-up competition hosted by the Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship at the Desautels Faculty of Management. The Centre provides resources and support to all entrepreneurs across UU直播 and Montreal communities.

One year after a runaway train transporting oil plowed through the downtown core of Lac-M茅gantic, igniting and razing much of the town鈥檚 commercial centre, three UU直播 students with a passion for social entrepreneurship have become part of the town鈥檚 efforts to rebuild.

On March 11, Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder Reddit, paid a visit to the Desautels Faculty of Management during one of the last stops of his North American tour to promote his book, 鈥淲ithout Their Permission.鈥� The book describes how he started the front page of the internet from scratch with his partner Steve Huffman. 鈥淓veryone has great ideas. No one wakes you up in the middle of the night to say 鈥業 have a terrible idea.鈥� We all have great ideas.
