The SSHRC funded series "Climate Change: Institutionality, Equity, and Activism Now", the department of English and the Institute for Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies, UU直播, present: Professor Christina Sharpe (York University): Talk & Seminar

Christina Sharpe is Professor of Humanities at York University and Distinguished Visiting Professor at Ryerson University. She is the author of two books: Monstrous Intimacies: Making Post-Slavery Subjects (2010) and In the Wake: On Blackness and Being (2016) both published by Duke University Press. She is currently working on a monograph called Black. Still. Life.

Her talk, entitled "Ordinary Notes" will be taking place on January 13th, at Leacock 232 from 5:30-7:30pm. This talk is free and open to the public; seating is on a first come first served basis.

The seminar will also be held on January 13th, from 12pm-2pm at Wendy Patrick Hall (WILSON 118). You must be registered to attend as spaces are limited. Please email climatechangeseries [at] gmail.com to register for the seminar now.
