Nov. 15 - 18 | Inspection of Fire Alarms, Sprinklers & Extinguishers at McLennan-Redpath

As part of UU直播鈥檚 ongoing efforts towards ensuring a safe environment, the Fire Prevention service will once again be performing annual inspections of the fire detection and suppression systems. This year聽Leclerc聽will be performing these tests which involve verifying all components of systems within each building.
Building affected: McLennan-Redpath Complex
Designated Conversation & Zoom Zones in Redpath & McLennan Library Buildings
All spaces in the McLennan-Redpath Complex are for quiet study EXCEPT for the following areas.
Zoom and Conversation Zones:- Main floors of both the McLennan and Redpath Library Buildings
- The Cyberth猫que level in the Redpath Library Building
- Elevator landings in the McLennan Library Building聽
Thanks for doing your part to keep noise levels down in Quiet Zones.
Accessing McLennan-Redpath materials during the Collections Centre move-in period
Two major parallel infrastructure projects鈥攁 new Collections Centre and Fiat Lux will transform the quality of services and spaces the Library offers. Library staff members are preparing for the movement of collections, spaces, and services in advance of renovation and construction activities.

Earlier this year, it was announced that it is now possible to opt in to retain and view your recent borrowing history in your UU直播 Library account.聽

Osler Library of the History of Medicine reopens August 29, 2022
After several years of reconstruction work, the Osler Library of the History of Medicine is set to reopen with full service on Monday, August 29, 2022. The Osler Library will be open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
We would like to thank the UU直播 community and scholar partners for their patience and collaboration during this renovation work.
UU直播 catalogue interface changes coming August 24
As of Wednesday, August 24, significant changes will be made to the UU直播 catalogue interface. As shown in the accompanying image, the dropdown menu for result sorting options that was located at the top of search results will now appear on the left panel with other search options such as grouping related editions and expanding searches. Also, the 鈥淕roup This Search鈥� accordion will display as collapsed by default and will read: 鈥淪earch Result Display鈥�.

It is now possible to retain and view your recent borrowing history in your UU直播 Library account. To protect your privacy, this option is disabled by default and records are retained for 5 months only.
