Artist Diploma Piano Student听Alex Soloway has been announced as the winner of this year's Classical Concerto Competition. He is a student of Prof. Ilya Poletaev and was also a winner in 2014 of the UU直播 Chamber Music Competition as a member of the Aeolus Trio. 听Soloway has already听performed in Canada, Europe, and the United States, including concerts at the Canadian Opera Company鈥檚 Four Seasons Centre in Toronto, the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, and Carnegie鈥檚 Weill Recital Hall in New York. In 2015, he听was a national finalist in the Canadian Music Competition. Soloway听will perform听Mozart's听Piano Concerto in A Major, K.V. 488, as a soloist with the UU直播 Symphony Orchestra 听on 听January 20听and 21, 2017. Event details here.
