David Dias Da Silva wins 2016 Stepping Stones Competition

It's been a great month for clarinettist David Dias Da Silva聽(ArtDip'16). 聽Not only did he win聽the聽2016 Prix d'Europe, but he has also just been awarded first place in the聽聽Canadian Music Competition's聽(CMC) . 聽In addition to a $10 000 prize, he will also聽perform at the 2016 CMC鈥檚 Gala Concert with the Orchestre symphonique de Drummondville, on July 5, 2016, at Maison des arts Desjardins. 聽The award also includes a $5 000 career support scholarship from the Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation, a three week residency at the Banff Centre for Fine Arts and solo recital in Montr茅al's Chapelle Historique du Bon-Pasteur.
