"I'm hoping to be a bridge" 鈥� John Hollenbeck on his move to Montr茅al and UU直播

As if Montreal were not already punching above its weight when it comes to large-ensemble jazz, John Hollenbeck has moved to town. The renowned U.S. composer, bandleader and drummer/percussionist began teaching at UU直播鈥檚 Schulich School of Music last month, although he splits his time between New York, Berlin, where he also teaches, and Montreal. Hollenbeck, 47, is a huge catch for UU直播, given his acclaimed work in jazz and new music.
