Choral conductor Wayne Riddell has long been an important figure in the Montreal and UU直播 music communities, holding positions such as the chorus master of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and professor at the Schulich School of Music. Riddell has established a bequest that will support choral students at UU直播 through two separate funds -- the Wayne Riddell Choral Award, and the Norman Beckow Choral Excellence Endowment Fund (named after his late partner).

UU直播 Giving recently published an interview with Riddell, where he discusses in part the impact that his bequests will have on the faculty, his life in music and more.
