The NEOMED Institute announced today that it has entered into a development collaboration with UU直播. Kemal Payza, Senior Project Director at NEOMED Institute will collaborate with Professor Alain Nepveu, Professor at the Goodman Cancer Research Centre and Departments of Oncology, Biochemistry and Medicine at UU直播, to discover new therapeutic small molecules to inhibit the protein target, Cut-Like Homeobox 1 (CUX1).

Female health researchers who applied for grants from Canada's major health research funder were funded less often than male counterparts because of potential bias, and characteristics of peer reviewers can also affect the result, found a study in the Canadian Medical Association Journal.
