Healthy Brains, Healthy Lives Trainee Get-Together

The HBHL Trainee Committee would like to invite you to our January Trainee Get-Together on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 5-6:30PM via Zoom. We kindly thank our sponsors BioLegend® for their generous contribution to support our HBHL Get-Togethers.

This month, we are excited to have Dr. Jean-Baptiste Poline, Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, as our Keynote Presenter, who would be introducing us to “Is open science an answer for a more reproducible research in neuroscience?”

Additionally, we are spotlighting a career talk by Dr. Noha Gerges from Mitacs through an introduction on Mitacs and the career opportunities available. We are also introducing another HBHL Fellow through a ten-minute Flash Talk by Ali Fazlollahi, an MSc trainee from Dr. Rolando Del Maestro's lab, which would be on the "Effectiveness of the Virtual Operative Assistant Compared to Expert-based Instruction in Neurosurgical Training".

There will be two $25 Indigo gift cards in this event's raffle, one for attendance at the event and another for those who participated in discussions following talks.
