Congratulations to Dr. Leon Tourian, recipient of the UU直播 PGME Program Director Leadership Award
We are very proud to announce that Dr. Leon Tourian is this year's recipient of the UU直播 PGME Program Director Leadership Award.
Dr. Tourian has worked tirelessly over the last 5 years at making an already excellent program even better and at redesigning our training program to usher in CBME on July 1st, 2020. Among his already numerous accomplishments, he created the Heinz Lehman Mentorship program, which was awarded the coveted Leading Practices / Innovations (LPI) Award during our general psychiatry program's Royal College accreditation. He was also recently named a Royal College CBD Innovator.
Dr. Tourian is a staunch resident advocate, an excellent communicator and team player, an innovator, and an outstanding leader, whose exceptional qualities have benefited residents and staff not only of our department, but also psychiatry programs across the country.
