Overview

Economics (Arts) : The pure theory of trade; Ricardian, Hecksher-Ohlin-Samuelson models; tariff theory and policy; the Canadian balance of payments; balance of payments disequilibrium analysis and policy; the exchange rate, international monetary economics, international policy coordination.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Instructors: There are no professors associated with this course for the 2010-2011 academic year.

  • Prerequisites: ECON 250D1/ECON 250D2 and ECON 352D1/ECON 352D2
  • Students must register for both ECON 453D1 and ECON 453D2.
  • No credit will be given for this course unless both ECON 453D1 and ECON 453D2 are successfully completed in consecutive terms
