Overview

Social Work : Theory and practice of work with groups. Emphasis on understanding group concepts and group dynamics and learning about various theoretical models of social group work practice. Focus on group development theory and the skills of the worker in a small group context. Small group participation, role playing and simulations will be utilized.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2010-2011 academic year.
