Mathieu Lapointe holds a master's degree (Université de Montréal) and a doctorate (York University) in history. Specialist in the history of Montreal, his doctoral thesis was titledÌýLe Comité de moralité publique, l’enquête Caron et les campagnes de moralité publique à Montréal, 1940-1954.ÌýHe is the author of th multi-award winning bookÌýÌý(Québec, Septentrion, 2014), and co-author ofÌýÌý(Montréal, Cardinal, 2016). He co-edited in 2016, with Pascal Brissette, the collective workÌýÌý(Montréal, Leméac, 2016).
