Abstract: The past decade has witnessed one of the greatest revolutions in the past 100 years in our understanding of the universe, and also produced one of the biggest outstanding mysteries in physics, resulting in a totally unexpected change in our picture of the future of the Universe and Life within it. Dr Krauss will ruminate on these questions听using as his starting point recent observations in cosmology and also explore such issues as:听Can life be eternal in an eternally expanding universe? Are the laws听of physics tailored for the existence of life? 听What will science in the far future tell us about the universe?
