Sarah Pralle is an Associate Professor at Maxwell School of Syracuse University in the Department of Polical Science. Her research interests centre on how advocacy groups advance issues in the policy process. In her book Branching Out, Digging In: Environmental Advocacy and Agenda Setting (Georgetown University Press, 2006) she takes an in-depth look at why some environmental conflicts expand to attract a lot of attention and participation, while others generate little interest or action.
