Mohit is a Bachelor of Arts graduate (Class of 2023) from Ashoka University, having studied history, international relations, and Persian. Since 2019, he has been working to improve literacy in his community through Sarathi: The Guide. His project has expanded to mobilize 45 volunteers to support 850 students in ten villages. Mohit also works as a residence assistant mentor and volunteers as a peer tutor. He has held several jobs, including one as an office counsellor for the Young Scholars Program.

For a qualitative research project investigating students' experience with supplementary schooling, a joint effort project by UU直播 and the University of Antwerp in Belgium are looking for participants.

The goal is to investigate the educational pathways of students who attended supplementary schooling in the past.聽 Students who attended a form of supplementary schooling (Chinese school, Greek school, other heritage language schools, Mosque school, Black weekendschool, etc鈥 ) in the past are cordially invited to participate.

Dianea Phillips, BEd鈥85, was 40 years old when she experienced her first zero-gravity flight.

鈥淚 fell in love with aerospace,鈥 recalls Phillips, a Certified Aerospace Educator. 鈥淚f it spins or flies, I love it. If it changes matter, even better!鈥

Phillips鈥檚 zero-gravity flight was the culmination of her participation in the U.S. Space and Rocket Center鈥檚 10-day Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama, where she lived and trained like an astronaut alongside participants from around the world.

Preliminary results of Dr. Lewis' new study (University of Ottawa) suggest systemic racism in Quebec schools is adversely impacting Black youth, and the researchers who conducted the study say some pedagogical practices need to change.

As CEO of Paper, Philip used his transferable skills as a classroom teacher to establish an on-demand online tutoring service. Paper has supported 3,000,000 students throughout the United States and will be collaborating with UU直播 Education on research in the EdTech field. Philip is also a member of UU直播 Education's Faculty Advisory Board (FAB), as a philanthropic ambassador for the Faculty.
