Gerard Lewis, a graduate of UU直播's Concurrent B.Ed. and B.Sc. Mathematics (Class of 2004) was recently awarded听Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence for igniting the love of learning.听The award recognizes Gerard's exemplary teaching practices and his dedication to supporting teachers. Part of the Toronto Catholica District School Board, Gerard is the Mathematics Facilitator, Kindergarten to Grade eight.

Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy's lab is looking for participants for the Walking for Wellbeing Research Project.
Participation entails three 45-minute walks per week (in downtown Montreal) for a total of 4 weeks, with weekly online questionnaires. Participants must be: currently registered as UU直播 students; aged 18-25; fluent in English; and owning a working smartphone with a data usage plan.

A celebratory evening was held to celebrate the graduation of the 28 locals who completed their UU直播 Bachelor鈥檚 of Education studies on October 22.
