The Library's virtualservices including the Virtual Reference, Course Readings Service, Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and ROAAr Digitization on Demand will close for the holidays from Thursday, December 24 to Sunday, January 3, 2021, inclusive.
The Redpath Study Hub will be open on Sundays during the month of December (Dec.6, 13, 20).

- Redpath Library Building, main floor - 11:00AMto 4:00 PM

As of December 3, UUֱ Library users can pay their full fines balance online via credit card (Visa or Mastercard) through their library account. Users can also pay by phone by asking to speak to a supervisor who can receive payment by credit card. Visit our dedicated webpage for payment instructions or more information on overdue fines.

In order to make course materials more affordable for students and to streamline the course pack creation process for faculty and instructors, UUֱ has transferred responsibility for all course readings to the UUֱ Library. As of January 2021, the UUֱ Library will be the single point of access for course-related materials including digital course packs. This will allow the Library to provide students with access to course material through the Library’s collection or by licensing the work for use by classes at no additional cost to the student.
The Library is pleased to announce that beginning Monday, November 9, students can take advantage of more study hub seating on the second floor of the Redpath Library Building. 172additional seats will be available for booking Monday - Friday from 10:30AM to 3:30PM. UUֱ students can book a hub seat in advance through an online booking system as of Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
In accordance with Quebec Public Health directives, the University is scaling back certain in-person activities including the Study Hubs and the ROAAr Rare Materials Consultation Room.

UUֱ students, faculty and staff can now use the Interlibrary Loans (ILL) service toborrow some physical materialsnot available at the UUֱ Library.
Whenconducting a search in the , results will identify whether or not the item is available from UUֱ Library, and if not, which other universities have an available copy. Make an ILL request by clicking on the Request via Interlibrary Loans button found on thesearch results page.
UUֱ students,faculty and staff can now connect remotely to Library workstations in order to use specialized software thatmay not be availableon personal computers. The Macdonald Campus Study Hub isre-imagined safe spacedesigned for quiet and individual study. Thework spacehas been retrofitted to allow for social distancing and will follow all of UUֱ’s careful safety protocols, including enhanced cleaning, mandatory mask use when circulating, safe lineups, and clear signage.
