Investigators interested in establishing a new Core Facility within the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences (FMHS) must adhere to the University鈥檚 Policy on Research Entities. The related include requirements for governance and the application filing form for new core facilities, including a comprehensive Business Plan, which must undergo review by the FMHS Committee for the Oversight of Shared Research Resource Facilities (COSRRF) and receive approval from the Dean of FMHS.
Provisional status granted by FMHS is the first step, after which, if the new research unit's activities are positively assessed by COSRRF, it may be encouraged to apply for full status as a UU直播 Research Unit through the Office of the Vice-Principal Research and Innovation (VPRI).
