Debbie Watson, RN, MN
Debbie is the ERAS care pathway coordinator at the MUHC-MGH site.
Debbie completed a bachelor of science in Nursing from the University of Montreal followed by a master in nursing from Athabasca University. Debbie co leads a multidisciplinary group implementing evidence-based Enhanced Recovery perioperative care plans throughout the Department of Surgery at the UU直播 Health Centre. Debbie has spoken at many world ERAS Congress and was invited grand rounds speaker at Duke University Hospital. Her surgical expertise comes from having worked in a variety of areas in her career including surgical wards, the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, the Preoperative Clinic and since 2008 coordinates the activities for the ERAS program.
Debbie is interested in health literacy, patient education and preparation.
