Monday

1:00 - 2:30 PM:Come meet our wonderful Handlers and Dogs who are trained to provide you with comfort and stress relief. A Hub Peer Supporter will also be present to answer any questions you may have about the Student Wellness Hub and its services.

5:00 - 6:30 PM:MORSL’s Mysticism Discussion Group is a place to learn and converse about spiritual practices and experiences across traditions. Each session will feature a different topic of interest that will be explored through readings, music, meditations, and most of all through sharing your thinking and experiences.

6:00 PM: Supper and Bible studyin the Undercroft at Christ Church Cathedral with.

6:30 - 8:30 PM:They'll meet at Rutherford Park (the field across the street from Thompson House). Scan the QR code on IG to sign up, and send them a DM if you have any questions!

7:30 - 9:00 PM:Join Hillel Montreal for a light dinner with Loay Alshareef, a PR Specialist & Peace Activist, leading Arab social media influencer and advocate for coexistence.

Tuesday

12:00 - 1:30 PM:Gardening GroupJoin MORSL for Gardening Group! Snacks and gardening gloves are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you want. Email us atmorsl [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Gardening%20Team) to RSVP and to be added to our gardening mailing list for future meet-ups.

7:00 - 7:40 PM:Join the MSA each Tuesday at 7 PM in MSA prayer room to learn, recite and perfect your relationship with the Quran. Our teacher, Ahmed Hisham is a master of the 10 qiraats of the Quran. Do not miss out on the opportunity to become from “the people of Allah”

Wednesday

10:30 AM - 1:00 PM:The UUֱ Art Hive is a space devoted to making art and community, located within the Healthy Living Annex at the Student Wellness Hub.

12:00 - 12:30 PM:Join the wellness hub for an introductory meditation workshop designed for beginners, where you can attend one session or all! Discover the transformative benefits of meditation, such as enhanced focus, reduced stress, and improved emotional well-being. No prior meditation experience is necessary – this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to explore meditation in a supportive environment.

1:30 - 3:00 PM:Do you have difficulty coping in these uncertain times? Feel you lack a sense of personal control in your life? Do you struggle? In this workshop you will learn coping skills and mindfulness to help you manage anxiety and stress.

4:30 - 5:30 PM:meets at MORSL's meditation space at 3610 McTavish room 36-3. Quaker-style meeting is silent group contemplation intended for people of all backgrounds and beliefs. If it's nice, they'll meet outside on the field in front of MORSL.

5:30 - 9:00 PM:Theis a prestigious event that kicks off the global summit, bringing together young leaders from over 190 countries. It features inspiring speeches, cultural performances, and the flag-bearing ceremony, symbolizing unity and collaboration among nations.

6:15 PM:The MSA's first community iftar the year, an Iftar of Fresh Beginnings! Tickets are sold out.

7:45 PM:Join Chabad at UUֱ for a cup of tea and Torah insight, discussion and friendly interaction with Jewish women. Text "tea" to RSVP (mandatory), and location will be sent upon registration.

Thursday

10:00 - 11:00 AM:Unsure of where to start? Get started on your wellness planning. In this workshop you will learn about what resources are available to you on and off-campus and how you can access the ones that are right for you.

12:00 - 1:00 PM:Do you find it challenging to balance your academics with other aspects of your life? Do you sometimes feel isolated? Do you at times struggle to retain your focus and motivation? Join the Mac Grad support group for ideas, encouragement, and a sense of connectedness. Students welcome to bring their lunch.

7:30 PM:Join Hillel Montreal to kick off the school year with our annual Froshashana party! Start off the year with a fun-filled night! Meet new people all while listening to great music, enjoying an open bar and food! A night you will not want to miss!

8:30 - 10:30 PM:Join UUֱ TMA every Thursday evening at Morrice Hall 017 for Dua e Kumayl.

11:00 AM - 4:00 PM:Ready to bring your artistic flair to the streets this summer? Join our Days of Service event in collaboration with Éco-quartier de Peter-UUֱ as we create a vibrant mural on McTavish Street alley. A local Montreal artist will guide you with expert tips and techniques as you help paint a stunning community masterpiece. Let’s come together to add a splash of color and creativity to UUֱ’s atmosphere! All materials will be provided.

12:30 - 2:30 PM:St. George’s new craft circle, Sacred Stitches, is starting in September! We will be gathering in the narthex for crafts and companionship! Come share in a warm drink and bring your knitting, crocheting, stitching, embroidery... or just bring yourself. Everyone is welcome so bring your friends! 3:00 - 6:00 PM:Discover a variety of volunteer opportunities both on-campus and across Montreal! Join us anytime between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM in room 201 at the SSMU University Centre. Refreshments and snacks will be provided!

9:00 AM:Kick off your Sundays at 9am with the MSA at Rutherford Park! Play with your MSA brothers and teams from Al Salam Mosque and the CIIC.

1:00-4:00 PM:to commemorate the International Day of Peace. The program will feature a guided tour and an opportunity for visitors to learn about the historical links between the Baha’i Shrine and the international peace movement; the teachings of the Baha’i Faith about peace and inclusion; and the actions inspired by these teachings in Montreal and around the world.for free on Eventbrite.
