Renowned violinist Violaine Melan莽on to join the Schulich School of Music string faculty

The Schulich School of Music is delighted to announce that聽violinist聽Violaine Melan莽on聽will be joining the string faculty as Associate Professor,聽beginning August 1st, 2018.

Students, alumni and faculty in Chile with Global Leaders Program

Currently, Dr. Lisa Lorenzino, Professor of Music Education, is聽in southern Chile with seven current and former Schulich School聽of Music Students as part of the Youth Orchestra of the Americas聽Global Leaders Program.聽After three days of seminars and聽meetings, the students have moved to a variety of locations聽throughout southern Chile to keep students active in free聽after-school music programs designed to empower youth.

Pianist Timothy Ledger to perform Beethoven alongside guest conductor Jean-Marie Zeitouni
