Simone McIntosh to appear in Vancouver Opera lead role

Simone McIntosh (M.Mus 2017) continues her streak of successes with an upcoming appearance singing the title role inRossini's "La Cenerentola." The production, which will be put on by Vancouver Opera in the spring, will be McIntosh's first mainstage appearance in a lead role.

"Women, Work and Song" at Marvin Duchow Library

An exciting new exhibit can be explored through the Marvin Duchow Library at UUֱ– "Women, Work and Song in Nineteeth-Century France."

The exhibit explores the evolving role of women in the popular song industry of the era, and includes many pieces from the 19th-century French sheet music collection of the Library.
