CFI Innovation Fund 鈥� Next Competition and Information Session
The Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) will launch the next Innovation Fund (IF) competition in Fall 2021 with submissions expected in Spring聽2022. The CFI-IF program provides funding for large-scale research infrastructure that will enable world-class research. For more information about this program, see . To be ready for submission to the CFI, the infrastructure implementation must be carefully planned in terms of the research program, feasibility, and cost. Sufficient time must be allocated to develop the proposal and related supporting documentation.
Researchers interested in applying to the upcoming IF competition must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) whenever possible and at the latest by March 31st, 2021 in order to initiate the space planning and the internal review process. Information about the EOI can be found here.
If you want to learn more about the program, please join one of the information sessions. The presentation will focus on general information on application requirements, overview of the internal selection process and best practices for preparing a successful IF application.
