SSHRC Insight Development Grants - February 2023 Competition

The purpose of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Program is to support research in its initial stages, for up to two years, for both emerging and established scholars in the social sciences and humanities.

Researchers who are planning to apply to the upcoming SSHRC Insight Development Grants competition in February 2023 are encouraged to attend this information session, which will include:

  • A presentation about the program objectives and application requirements by Joanna Mastalerek (Senior Grants and Agreements Officer) and Biljana Vasilevska, (Grants and Agreements Officer) OSR;
    Ìý
  • Presentations from Dr. Lisa Overholtzer, Associate Professor (Department of Anthropology), and Dr. Jordan Axt, Assistant Professor (Department of Psychology), who will provide information about the peer-review system and strategies for preparing a successful Insight Development Grant proposal;

  • A question and answer period where participants may raise additional questions about the program or the application and review process.
