Join UUֱ Science Outreach outdoors for our Family Science Day and discover the secret stories of trees’ lives!

Have you ever wondered what kinds of stories trees could tell us if they could talk? Are you curious to know how old the trees around you are? During this interactive workshop, we will learn how to “read” tree growth rings to explore what they can tell us about a tree’s life. Put on your scientist hats and join us for 75 minutes of games and hands-on activities! 



Who? Families Ages 8-10 years old accompanied by an adult. 

When? Saturday, September 28th

  • Workshop in ENGLISH: 9 am - 10:15 am
  • Workshop in FRENCH: 10:45 am - 12 pm


³? UUֱ downtown campus, meet outside the Redpath Museum (859 Sherbrooke St W). This activity will occur outdoors, so please come prepared for the weather (e.g., hat, sunscreen, water bottle).

This activity will be cancelled in the event of rain. You will receive an e-mail the day before the activity to confirm.
