64-channel electroencephalography (EEG) facilities are used to address the timecourse of auditory perception as listeners hear music or speech. We examine both individual perception, attention, and planning issues, as well as how pairs of listeners interact in tasks.

Examples of topics include: sensitivity to pitch repetition, perception of melodic contour, planning of anticipatory movement, and contextual influences of timbre change.
