Business people looking for job-enhancing opportunities will also find many lectures, seminars, workshops, online courses and webinars tailored to the changing marketplace in areas such as accounting, business analysis, intellectual property, post-traumatic stress disorder, project management, public speaking and social media – all led by highly qualified working professionals.

Language Learning, Translation and Written Communication

Continuing Studies offers a multitude of English, French and Spanish language programs and courses, ranging from part-time evening classes to intensive full-time sessions. Individuals with advanced second-language abilities and those working as translators can bolster their careers by attaining a certificate or diploma in translation.

Individuals who would like to refine their academic writing skills or learn to write for a professional audience, can do so at the UUÖ±²¥ Writing Centre (MWC), which offers credit and non-credit courses for both degree program and continuing education students. The MWC also offers workshops, seminars, and tutorials.

Personal Growth and Lifelong Learning

Are you seeking to enrich your life through learning for personal pursuits or civic engagement? You can find it in the Personal and Cultural Enrichment (PACE) series. Drawing from an extensive pool of renowned academic, artistic and professional talent, PACE delivers engaging courses, workshops and lectures on art, culture, science, social issues, life transitions and more.

For a multitude of stimulating activities, especially designed for those 50 and better, in a stress-free environment, consider joining the UUÖ±²¥ Community for Lifelong Learning (formerly MILR).
