UU直播 is a diverse institution with research activities spanning two campuses, 10 Faculties, 16 Schools, multiple hospitals, research centres, and institutes. It is home to more than 1,700 tenured or tenure-track faculty members.聽聽
As such, it is the University鈥檚 role to take responsibility for the environmental, economic, and social implications of its research. It is a core commitment within the UU直播 Strategic Research Plan.

Shifting to sustainability requires taking a multi-faceted systems-level approach to some of the world鈥檚 knottiest problems. The UU直播 Sustainability Systems Initiative mobilizes UU直播 researchers around these sustainability challenges and to equip the next generation in the skills necessary to address these issues.
Research and Sustainability Network
The Research and Sustainability Network (RSN) seeks to inform and empower students at UU直播, bridging the gap between researchers in sustainability, and undergraduates interested in research. Through recurring conferences, speaker series, and networking events, the RSN facilitates collaboration and increases accessibility to undergraduate research positions.
