Faith-based group support for Jewish-identified students

The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life partners with trained wellness facilitators at UU直播 who come from relevant cultural and faith backgrounds to help UU直播 students manage the spiritual and emotional distress surrounding events in the Middle East, in the news or social media.

This group is for students who identify as Jewish across the faith and cultural spectrum as well as different levels of observance.

Format

Online via Teams. Group discussion is facilitated by UU直播 wellness professionals who are Jewish-identified, and is supported by MORSL staff with special contributions from Rabbi Ellen Greenspan, one of MORSL's volunteer Jewish faith leaders from the Montreal community.听

The group is grounded in the principles of confidentiality and mutual respect. Therefore, UU直播 credentials will be required to participate and you will not be permitted to record any part of the sessions. Once you sign up,听 you will receive a Teams invite. On the day of the session, you may log onto Teams using your UU直播 student credentials, and the facilitators will let you into the virtual session after confirming your identity. Please note that once you join the session, your name will be visible on the screen. However, we ask that all members of the group respect each other鈥檚 privacy and refrain from sharing names and identities outside of the session.

Each session is unique.听 You may attend one, some, or all sessions.
