Persons with disabilities

Staff

Staff members who have a disability, medical condition, or temporary injury and require proximity parking may be able to obtain a permit for a parking area near their workplace.

Those with the need only purchase their campus permit to utilize designated spaces. Note that both permits must be displayed in the vehicle.

Those who do not have the must visit the Parking for Staff with Disabilities & Adapted Transport Service to apply for a proximity parking permit.

Students

Students who have a disability, medical condition, or temporary injury and require proximity parking may be able to obtain a permit for parking areas near the buildings they need to access. The request must be made to the Office for Students with Disabilities.

Visitors

The following parking lots are open to the public which have parking spaces designated for persons with disabilities:

  • Laird Hall (Front)
  • Centennial Center
  • Horticulture

Vehicles parked in spaces designated for persons with disabilities must have a parking permit for persons with disabilities displayed. These permits are issued by the Société de l’assurance automobile de Québec (SAAQ). For more information, please visit the .

If you are not from Quebec, you must display the equivalent of the Quebec parking permit for persons with disabilities from your province, territory, or state in order to use the accessible spaces.

Please note that a campus parking permit is also required.
